Gert Van Den Berg
Gert Van Den Berg
Gert van den Berg is a specialist in the field of trusts, estate planning and administration of estates. He spent a number of years in the office of the Master of the High court in Bloemfontein and six years with the trust department of a bank.
He was admitted as an advocate of the High Court of South Africa in 1985.
During the past forty six years, Gert van den Berg has been in private practice, specializing in trusts, estate planning and administration of estates. In December 2000 he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Associate Director. Since 1st of July 2015 he practices under the name of Delport van den Berg (now known as Delberg) Estate and Trust Services (Pty) Ltd. He is co-author together with his late partner Dr PA Olivier of the book titled Praktiese Boedelbeplanning as well as co-author with Dr S Strydom of an updated version of the book Trust Law and Practice and also a summary of the most important court decisions regarding Trust Law which is available to practitioners in hardcopy or in electronic format.
Gert is well known for his informative lectures on trusts, estate planning and administration of estates at various universities and presented seminars on these topics throughout South Africa.
As a member of the Fiduciary Institute of South Africa (FISA) and the South African Institute of Tax Practitioners (SAIT) his valuable insight is continuously sought on complexities and proposed changes in the fiduciary industry.

Callie graduated from the North-West University in 2013 (BCom Law, LLB) and in 2015 (LLM Estate Planning). His undergraduate dissertation, titled: “The amendment of the trust deed to effect the sale of a trust” was an indication of his preferred field. He expanded on his interests in his postgraduate dissertation, titled: “Evaluating the joint action rule in the administration of trusts – peremptory or lenient prescript?”
Whilst he had exposure to general legal practice, he was motivated to pursue a career in estate planning, as such, he joined the Delberg Group in November 2015 to expand his exposure in the field of trust- end estate planning with Gert van den Berg.
He became a Director in 2021 at Delberg Estate & Trust Services where he is currently practicing. He has obtained extensive experience in the fields of:
1. Trusts and Legacy Planning;
2. Restructuring for Family Groups with a focus on trusts;
3. Administering complex estates;
4. Acting as an Independent trustee;
5. Consulting with clients regarding their estate planning.
Susandra van Wyk
Susandra van Wyk
Dr. Susandra van Wyk is an attorney, conveyancer, and notary of the High Court of South Africa, specialising for 32 years in Succession Law, Drafting of Wills, Estate Law, Estate Administration, Trusts, and Estate Planning. She earned two of her six degrees, BIuris and LLB, while working as an estate examiner and acting Assistant Master at the Bloemfontein branch Master of the High Court. As a fiduciary specialist advising the public and attorneys on estate law matters, she completed her master’s degree in estate law and an advanced diploma in insolvency law. In addition, she pursued her academic interests during her part-time tenure as a lecturer and researcher, earning the degrees BA Hons, MA, and DLitt et Phil. Susandra has published various academic articles, presented lectures and conference presentations, and served as an external examiner for master’s and doctoral students, an editor and reviewer of academic journals, and as an external examiner for the deceased estate administration LLB module at North-West University. Susandra finds great satisfaction in the practical and theoretical application of Estate Law and Trusts, including administering deceased estates and drafting Wills, providing legal guidance to clients and fellow lawyers, and presenting academic articles and talks at universities.
Isabel Möller
Isabel Möller
Isabel studied at the University of Pretoria where she obtained a B.A Law degree in 2013 and an LLB degree in 2015.
Thereafter commenced with articles of clerkship in 2016 and was duly admitted as a practising attorney in March 2017 specialising tin the fields of the administration of deceased estates and conveyancing.
Isabel was appointed as an associate in 2019. Since joining the company Isabel has extended her studies and was admitted as a Notary in 2024. She has obtained further extensive knowledge in the fiduciary sector with a focus on deceased estates, trusts and the taxes related thereto. She manages the day-to-day administration of the deceased estates, assistance with trusts and estate planning. She has a hands-on approach with each file that crosses her table.
